The most important metabolic functions that together perform calcium and boron are: the movement of carbohydrates inside the plant, the formation of roots and cell walls.
Calcium and boron are sedentary elements. Because transpiration movement and hence mass consumption have a strong influence on the transport of these elements to growth points, it is usually the fruits that suffer from a deficiency of these elements due to their low transpiration intensity. Calcium and boron deficiency usually occur in soils with a pH below 6.0 or above 8.0, sandy soils, cultivars that are exposed to drafts and high temperatures, have an underdeveloped root system, high levels of nitrogen and so on. KELATEX CaB is a fertilizer (soluble powder) that is perfect for strengthening the plant at the stage of flowering and fruiting.
It is recommended to apply KELATEX CaB to crops that have problems with the calcium-boron ratio, low levels of calcium and / or boron, mainly during the flowering and fruiting stages.
